It is with a (kinda) heavy heart that I inform you that Scandal Chat won’t be returning for the show’s 5th season. Viv and I started Scandal Chat at the height of the show’s OMGness and it was a heady time, but we’ve changed, and the show has changed. There was a point where we just got bored and burned out by the show’s repetitiveness and we had very little new or original to say that wasn’t snarky. So that’s one reason.
Reason #2 is that we are in the midst of changing some things about the kind of articles we publish the site as a whole that you’ll be seeing very soon and Scandal Chat in particular probably doesn’t really fit in with that. But no fear, our thoughts on Scandal will likely show up in some other incarnation on the site soon enough.
