		<description>Thanks for pointing out my U.S.-centric post, Hyel! Licensing restrictions based on locale limit the use of Hulu (and I&#039;m assuming also the licensed content on YouTube). 

I realize that *not* watching fansubs is less likely to be an option for those who do not have legal means of obtaining shows they want to watch. And this is yet another reason for those in the U.S. to show their fandom in a way that has economic impact -- through legal streaming or buying DVDs -- because if shows don&#039;t get licensed here (U.S.) then they are not likely to be licensed where you are, like Europe!</description>

		<description>I agree, though I feel I should point out that Hulu is only available in America, just as BBC programs are only available online in the UK, which could explain the continuing popularity of unlicenced copies. Sitting here in Belgium, a country that&#039;s not exactly up and coming with this sort of thing, one feels a little left out.
